He started Precision Metal Tooling, Inc.™ in 1983. He has assembled some of the most talented tool and die makers as a part of his design team.

His son, David C. Carter joined the company in 2019. He has both, a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from U.C. California, Davis. He has worked in Research and Development in Japan for one of the largest tool manufacturer before joining us. And has worked with one of largest EDM wire mfg. companies in Japan as well. He brings in a renewed view towards EDM wire work to our company.
